Who said that play is not a useful thing?
why do we treat a game as one to spurn?
in games as work alike our thoughts we bring
to lofty heights where we are free to learn
work has rules – so to have games to bind
both have steps and both agility
both require a fluid state of mind
and both develop our abilities
work and play can be the very same
while one can toil another can enjoy
and while a process can be a simple game
with rules and restrictions to ardently deploy
it’s only how we view and how we name
the things we do that act as a decoy.
